LOS ANGELES

Los Angeles is always a wonderful and fun place to experience! Damon grew up in the area, so we can always find adventures to go on.

It’s also a wealth of Background/Extra opportunities - in the movies, on TV shows, and in commercials. And it’s even better when we can combine opportunities.

The first time we were there, we were scheduled to be in two movies – the first one “Math Whiz”, where we were casually-dressed background diners in an outdoor restaurant. The next day, we were scheduled to be VIPs at a red-carpet event in a movie called “Western Avenue”. At then, at the last moment, on the last day, the Casting Director of the movie “White Men Can’t Jump” remake, needed another background woman for a water aerobics class scene. How fun was that!?!

Next time, we were Background/Extras for the movie “Birds Eye Witness” where we played kissing cops all day. While there, we were called last minute to be in a music video. Come to find out, we were Extras for Bad Bunny’s latest video! Bad Bunny! Who opened for the Grammys this year and is the most streamed rap artist in the world right now!

In February, Damon had a part in a commercial for BOK Financial, and we were Extras for the movie “Aftershock”.

In April, we had a part in a Twitch.TV show, where Damon was the Bingo Caller and I won the Bingo Game at a nursing home. Again, last minute, we were asked to be in a commercial in San Francisco, so instead of flying back to Seattle, we rented a car and had a delightful road trip up to San Francisco!

Los Angeles is a wonderful place to find work in the entertainment field! We met many great people and had a delightful time visiting new places. We love going there and bet you will too!
